I actually disagree. Lions have been getting a lot of very good bounces and relying a lot on opposition coughing the ball up/special teams, etc.
Week 8 vs Tennessee: won 52-14 despite being outgained 416-225. They averaged 4.8 yards a play, while the Titans averaged 5.9.
Week 9 at Green Bay: won 24-14 despite being outgained 411-261. They averaged 4.7 yards a play, while the Packers averaged 6.6.
Granted I still think they’re a very good team, but the scoreboard is not indicative of how well they’re actually playing
