Wasim Akram robbed! Pays more than 1 lakh Pakistani rupees for cat’s haircut in Australia

Wasim Akram narrated a bizarre story about his cat’s haircut in the commentary box during the match between Pakistan and Australia.

Pakistan’s veteran bowler Wasim Akram seems to have a special fondness for his cat. The legendary pacer shared a humorous story in the commentary box during a match between Pakistan and Australia, revealing that he once paid 1,000 Australian dollars—approximately 1.85 lakh Pakistani rupees for his cat’s haircut.

After listenting to the unbelivable story from the Akram, his callauege in the commentary box shifted their focus from the match to how the bill was so much for just a normal haircut. It is possible that Akram most not have spended that much amount on his own haircut.

The former Pakistani pacer himself admitted that, with that amount of money, he could groom 200 cats in Pakistan, highlighting how expensive the services are in Australia. His colleagues were amused, joking that the cricketer had been ropped by forienger.

“I had a cat haircut yesterday. I have to pay 1000 Australian dollars for the cat’s haircut. They have got to sedate the cat, they have to keep the cat, then they have to feed the act. I said about 200 cats in Pakistan can get haircut for this money,” he told the bizzare story.

Akram broke down the bill, revealing an even more surprising detail: the haircut was the least expensive item, while additional services significantly drove up the total cost.

  • 105 AUD for a medical check-up.
  • 305 AUD for anesthesia to safely sedate the cat.
  • 40 AUD for the actual haircut.
  • 120 AUD for post-procedure care.
  • 251 AUD for a cardio test.
