India Cricket Team will take on Australia for the Perth Test on 22nd November
Jasprit Bumrah will not only be spearheading India’s pace attack but will also lead the charge for the IND vs AUS Perth Test. But the ahead of the opening Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, the speedster faces a major selection conundrum as far as the fast bowlers are concerned.
With grass present on the pitch, it is expected that pacers will be heavily reliant on the surface and not spinners. Now the question stands, will India take the risk of playing 2 spinners or will approach the game with 4 pacers?

2 spinners or 4 pacers?
It will be a tough decision to take for the team management to decided between Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin and Washington Sundar. But the sheet nature of the pitch will force the team to opt for a solitary spinner and go full throttle in the pace attack.
As for the spin unit, Ravindra Jadeja seems the best fit with his over-all all-rounder skills. Not only is Jadeja good with the ball, but his ability to bat better makes him a clear cut choice compared to both the off spinners in the team.

Harshit Rana or Nitish Kumar Reddy?
It is highly likely that either of Harshit Rana and Nitish Kumar Reddy would get their Test debut in the Perth Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy. Jasprit Bumrah will lead the charge alongside Mohammed Siraj. As for the third pacer, Akash Deep is tipped to be ahead of Khaleel Ahmed.
Reports claim that Harshit Rana is likely to get his Test debut. On the other hand, Nitish Kumar Reddy would be a more complete package. Since the latter his an all-rounder his batting abilities can work wonders if India’s batting unit falters. On the other hand, Harshit Rana’s brute pace and bowling abilities will make him a complete fit if India plans on going all out attack with their bowling front.
