November 15 will script down in history as a highly eventful day. It all started with ex-Mumbai Indians (MI) pacer Anshul Kamboj rattling Kerala by taking a perfect 10 in a Ranji Trophy game. Then came out the IPL 2025 Auction list, with BCCI confirming that 574 players will go down under the hammer in Jeddah on November 24-25. However, the something spectacular came at the last as well when Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson schooled South Africa with twin centuries. Suryakumar Yadav’s India have sealed the 4-match series 3-1, ending 2024 with 22 T20I wins. On that note, here are the top stories from November 15, Friday.

This performance cemented Varma’s number three spot and showcased Samson’s new-found enigma as an opener.

Anshul Kamboj with 10-wicket haul in Ranji Trophy!

Fans witnessed a rare feat as Haryana’s young fast bowler Anshul Kamboj achieved what only two others have done in Ranji Trophy history – claiming all 10 wickets in an innings. The 23-year-old finished with remarkable figures of 30.1-9-49-10 against Kerala at Lahli’s Chaudhary Bansi Lal Stadium. Kamboj joins an exclusive club that includes Bengal’s Premangsu Chatterjee (1956-57) and Rajasthan’s Pradeep Sunderam (1985-86). In the broader context of first-class cricket, he becomes the sixth Indian to achieve this milestone, following in the footsteps of legends like Anil Kumble and Subhash Gupte.

Injury blow to KL Rahul!

In a worrying development, KL Rahul suffered an elbow injury during India’s intra-squad practice session at Perth’s WACA, just days before the Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT). Rahul was hit by a bouncer and initially wanted to continue despite visible discomfort. However, he eventually walked off as a precautionary measure. Reports indicate that Rahul is now fine, but incidents like these are never welcomed. Team India’s preparations have been marred by injuries, and Rahul’s fitness will be closely monitored.
