Bengal Warriorz captain Fazel Atrachali praised Bengal Warrioz’s star raider and his teammate Maninder Singh.

Bengal Warriorz captain Fazel Atrachali expressed a heartfelt appreciation for his teammate and star raider Maninder Singh after their thrilling 40-38 victory against the Haryana Steelers on Sunday, November 3 in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 11.

Maninder was instrumental in the win, scoring 12 points and spearheading the team’s offensive efforts while seamlessly working alongside the defensive unit led by Atrachali. Following the match, the Iranian defender highlighted Maninder’s exceptional commitment, saying, “What sets Maninder apart is his dedication. In my decade-long experience, I’ve seen many seasoned players skip practice, but not him. He puts in more effort than anyone else and consistently gives his 100% in the gym, during training, and in matches.”

Maninder not like ordinary young players – Atarachali

Atrachali also believes in the rarity of players who maintain such longevity in their careers. “We see many young players, even those in their twenties, who come for a year or two and then fade away. However, Maninder’s consistency stems from his relentless hard work and fitness routine,” he remarked.

Bond with teammates

Reflecting on their recent performance, Atrachali conveyed satisfaction with the team’s growing synergy. “Our combination is getting better with every match. We have several strong players like Maninder, Sushil (Kambrekar), and Nitin, and everyone plays a vital role in different games – that’s what makes us effective as a unit.”

Thoughts on upcoming matches

Looking ahead to their next encounter against Dabang Delhi K.C., Atrachali maintained a cautiously optimistic stance. “This victory has boosted our confidence, but we understand that every match is unique. We will continue our hard work in practice, and if we play to our potential, we can secure a positive outcome.”
